Dissonant Racism

In 29 March 1982 Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder released the song entitled "Ebony and Ivory" which stayed seven weeks atop Billboard's Hot 100, and still remains popular till today. The first verse of the song posed the question: "Ebony and Ivory. Live together in perfect harmony. Side by side on my piano Keyboard. Oh Lord, why don't we?

Sadly this forty year old song question is still necessary today. We don’t need to be musicians to know that the piano music harmony is produced by the variety of its keys. Therefore, the singers were actually asking: if the dark and lighter keys produce such a perfect harmonic sound, why can't dark and lighter skin people do the same?

The Bible teaches that there is a supremacy virus that was spread to all humanity by Lucifer, who having been created an angel by God, thought of himself more than he actually was even wanting to replace his creator. God then threw him out heaven and since then Lucifer endeavors to deceive people to become like him.

Every time a person or a group of people despises another or others because of the color of their skin, it is live evidence that the Luciferian virus is still around and that people haven't yet understood that we are all God's creation and therefore we are all equal.

Actually the platform of understanding amongst all peoples is the fact that we must all kneel before the one and only Creator, God himself. When we are all knelt, we realize that we are all at the same level, all needing the same grace and mercy from the Lord and all in need of each other.

Yes, different color people can make harmony like the piano’s Ebony and Ivory keys as long as they remain kenneling before the sovereign God.

  • Have you ever felt mistreated because of your skin color?
  • Have your ever mistreated others because of their skin color?
